FAQ’s

Why are your numbers Organic?

Our numbers are organic due to the zero carbon foot print that our numbers produce. We carefully monitor our emissions and have a green policy that we aim to carry out.

Why should I use an organic 0845 number?

Organic 0845 numbers are the most cost effective phone number in the UK at the moment. The cost to call an 0845 number has been reduced dramatically recently and even some BT customers can call these numbers for free. Our 0845 numbers are quick to set up, can move with you anywhere and are our lowest cost number choice. 0845 numbers are widely used across the UK and have no stigma attached to them for the cost to call compared to 0871 numbers.

How will my number reach me?

We build your number to point to your existing landline or mobile phone (we can even point them internationally if necessary). If someone then calls your new number it will be pointed to your existing phone lines. People can still call you on your landline or mobile as our service works in parallel with your existing numbers.

Organic food in the shops is expensive – is this the case for your numbers?

Not at all! Our organic numbers are priced competitively to encourage customers to our service. We will never be the cheapest number supplier but you will receive a quality service with the knowledge that your purchase will not damage the environment. If you have ever purchased organic chicken you will never go back to factory chicken (the taste is far too good!). The same rule applies to our numbers (once you start using us you will never go back).

What is your contract term for numbers?

We are so confident that our service is reliable and competitive that we only require 30 days notice for you to close down your account. You will need to email us to confirm that you wish to close down the number.

How quickly can I get my Organic number live?

We generally say that if you place an order for an 0800, 0844 or 0845 number on Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm we will have it connected in 60 minutes.

Please note that organic local numbers can take up to 5 working days to be assigned.

How do I change where my number is pointed to?

All you have to do is call us or use our online request to make the change. The change takes place immediately and we only charge a one off fee of £5 for this change to be made.

How much are your numbers?

Full details of our charges are prominently displayed on the relevant pages of our site.

We bill by the second and do not hide any fees or call connection rates (watch out for these hidden nasties from some of our competitors).

When can I expect to get my invoice and how do I pay you?

Our invoices are always sent out in the 1st week of every month (remember these are sent out by email to help the environment). Payment is made using our Direct Debit facility 14 days after you have received your bill. This saves you having to write cheques and use envelopes and is again Carbon Neutral.

I am looking for a particular number that is more memorable – what shall I do?

We only put a selection of our home grown numbers on the site as too many would make it difficult to choose from. If you have a particular requirement or would like a more memorable number please feel free to contact us.

How will I know if someone has called my existing line or my number?

We can build a service called call whisper. This will play a message to you when you pick up the phone. The message will generally say “this is a call from your XXXX number” but we can record any message you wish. This service only costs £5 to set up and £5 per month rental. Contact us to order or speak to someone for more assistance.

Will your bills show me people who have called me?

Our invoices are very comprehensive. We will show you the time and date of every call received. We will also show you the number of the person who called you (provided that they haven’t withheld their number). We itemise all calls to the second and wrap this up in an invoice with graphs and pie charts which will help you monitor the success of your number.

Can I route my number to a Skype or VOIP number?

Yes, Skype or VOIP will be charged the same as a landline
